What's Going on at Grace?
Today, November 10th, following the morning service there will be a CATERED LUNCH in honor of Veterans and Seniors.
Everyone is invited to join us in the fellowship hall. This evening there will be a Veterans Day tribute video shown in the sanctuary. It will begin at 6:05 pm.
This Tuesday, November 12th, the DORCAS CIRCLE will meet at 10:30 am and then proceed to Olive Garden for lunch.
This Tuesday, November 12th, there will be an ELDERS / BOARD MEETING at 6pm.
This Wednesday, November 13th, S.A.L.T. BIBLE STUDY will meet at 6 pm.
This Thursday, November 14th, there will be a LADIES’ CRAFT NIGHT at the American Way Campus, 6 pm. [Ladies may sign up in the fellowship hall. Please bring fabric scissors.
The BUTTERBEAN AUCTION will be on Tuesday, November 19th at 1 pm.
GCC will celebrate THANKSGIVING on Sunday, November 24th at 11 am. The annual THANKS-LIVING SERVICE will be on Sunday evening at 6 pm. Our speaker will be Kristi Rowe.
This year’s ADVENT CELEBRATION SERVICE will be on Sunday, December 1st at 6 pm. Special music will be provided by pianist, cellist, and vocalist Cody Shivers.
Supplies for OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD shoeboxes are in the fellowship hall. Please stop by the display if you want to participate by filling a box and sending $10 for shipping. Shoeboxes need to be in by Sunday, November 17th
Orders for memorial / honorary POINSETTIAS are being taken. The plants will be placed in the sanctuary during the Christmas season. Stop by the table in the fellowship hall to purchase one or more and leave the appropriate info for the memorial page. Cost is $7 per plant.
Collection containers are in the fellowship hall for the following ongoing mission projects:
1) Snack items for the “Ballad HV Hospitality Snack Cart”
2) Soap for the Sullivan County Jail Ministry. We’ve met our 1200 bars of soap goal for 2024 and have started on our 2025 collection!
3) Clorox / Lysol Wipes for Andrew Johnson School
