This morning, November 8th, GCC will observe VETERANS DAY. Immediately
following the morning service, everyone is invited to the SENIOR APPRECIATION
LUNCH in the fellowship hall. PRAISE TEAM practice will be at 5 pm. For the evening
service at 6 pm, our Veterans Day speaker will be TERRY FORD.

This Tuesday, November 10th, the DORCAS CIRCLE will meet at 10:30 am and
proceed to Olive Garden for lunch at 11:30 am. Dorcas Circle will not have business
meetings in December, January, and February.

ELDERS MEETING will be on Tuesday, November 10th at 6 pm.

This Wednesday, November 11th, S.A.L.T. BIBLE STUDY will be at 6 pm.

The “BUTTERBEAN AUCTION” will be on Tuesday, November 17th at 1 pm.

This year’s “CRAFTY LADIES” Craft Night will be on Thursday, November 19th at 6pm. It will be held at the American Way location. Please come to the back door and bring scissors for cutting paper if you have some. Please sign up in the fellowship hall.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES are due by noon on Sunday,
November 22nd
 

This year’s THANKS-LIVING SERVICE will be on Sunday, November 22nd at 6 pm. Our speaker will be ROSA TINSLEY.

This year’s ADVENT CELEBRATION SERVICE [“Hanging of the Greens”] will be on
Sunday, November 29th at 6 pm. Special music will be provided by Theresa Bellamy.

Collection containers are in the fellowship hall for the following ongoing mission
projects:
1) Bars of soap for the Sullivan County Jail Ministry
2) Clorox / Lysol Wipes for Andrew Johnson School
3) Snacks for the Hospital Beverage Cart
